Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in full sun, in average to moist soil, tolerating a wide range of conditions. Can spread rather quickly by seed. If desired, remove seed heads before they split open.

Native to Ontario

Host plant for the larvae of many moth species as well as the larvae of Monarch butterflies.
