Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Although somewhat tolerant of drier soils, swamp milkweed thrives in moist to wet soils. Once flowering is complete, it is best to leave flowerheads untouched as attractive seed pods will follow. Very slow to emerge in the spring. Slow to colonize.
