Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Grows well in many soils and conditions and is excellent for stabilizing slopes. To promote profuse flowering, prune in early spring. Berries are considered toxic to humans, causing digestive upset.

Native to Ontario and other parts of North America.

Of special value to songbirds.  Host plant for the larval stage of the Vashti Sphinx moth.
