Growing and Maintenance Tips:

An emergent aquatic perennial suitable for a pond, water or bog garden. Grows well in shallow ponds with an earth bottom, in partial to light shade.

Additional Notes about Green Arrow Arum:

Native to Ontario

All parts of the plant contain calcium oxalate, toxic if eaten raw.

The foliage provides effective cover for fish, insects, and waterfowl. The flowers are pollinated almost exclusively by the Chloropid Fly, whose larvae feed on the decaying flower. The resultant fruit is enjoyed by waterfowl and muskrats.
