Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Best grown in a shady, woodland area in a rich, humusy, consistently moist soil. Slow to establish and best left undisturbed once mature.

Foliage resembles that of Thalictrum (Meadow Rue), hence the species name thalictroides.

Larval host for many butterfly moth and species including Black-patched Clepsis moth.
