Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in a moist, well-drained, humus rich, acidic to neutral soil, in partial to full shade. Trilliums will go dormant shortly after flowering, usually early summer.

Additional Notes about White Trillium:

Native to Ontario

Seed dispersal occurs via a symbiotic relationship with ants.

It's not illegal to pick Trillium flowers, however, if you pick the flower, the plant won't be able to collect enough sunlight and nutrients for the season and it may take years to recover--or it may never recover.
