Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in an average to dry, well-drained rocky soil, in full sun to partial shade. It is tolerant of dry shady landscapes, although its habit becomes less compact.

Additional Notes about Alpine Cinquefoil:

Native to Ontario
In bloom from April to August, the flowers provide pollen and nectar for various species of insects, mainly flies and bees. The foliage provides forage for desperate wildlife; not usually browsed by rabbits or deer.
