Growing and Maintenance Tips:


This plant will tolerate many types of soils, moist or dry, but not wet, low areas. It grows best in some shade and will scorch in full afternoon sun.

Significant early-season nectar source for emerging bee queens along with butterflies and moths including Hummingbird Clearwing Moths. The berries are enjoyed by robins, cardinals etc.
