Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Inkberry grow best in a slightly acidic, slightly moist, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. 'Densa' makes an excellent evergreen hedge, as it prunes well. Will tolerate a wet soil.

Additional Notes about Dense Inkberry Holly:

Hollies are dioecious: plants are either male or female. If berries are desired, one compatible male ilex plant will effectively pollinate up to six female plants, from up to 15 metres away.
