Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Best treated as a short-lived perennial. Remove spent flowers to improve appearance and to prevent seeds from spreading. Allow a few seeds to germinate.

Best grown in average to medium moisture, in a well-drained soil, in partial shade. Can tolerate full sun with adequate moisture. Due to the sturdy stems, plants rarely require staking.

Additional Notes about Yellow Foxglove:

Caution: All parts of digitalis, if ingested, can cause illness. Digitalis has been used as a heart stimulant for centuries. External contact with plant parts can cause irritation for some people.
