Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Best grown in average to medium moisture, a well-drained soil, in partial shade. Can tolerate full sun with adequate moisture. Plants rarely require staking due to the sturdy stems. It is considered a biennial, so allow the plant to reseed.

Additional Notes about Pink Foxglove:

Caution: All parts of digitalis, if ingested, can cause illness. Digitalis has been used as a heart stimulant for centuries. External contact with plant parts can cause irritation for some people.

Digitalis mertonensis is a cross between D. grandiflora and D. purpurea and will grow true from seed.
