Growing and Maintenance Tips:

This plant will grow in many types of soil, even rocky dry soils with salt problems. It is best grown in full sun. However, it will tolerate light shade.

Additional Notes about Bush Honeysuckle:

Native to Ontario and other parts of North America.

Although the common name includes the word, 'Honeysuckle', Diervilla is not related to the invasive ones.

Larval host for several moth species, including The Snowberry Clearwing Moth. The tubular flowers attract specific types of bees, the foliage provides cover for small mammals and birds, and the seeds provide winter food for those.
