  • AKA Symphyotrichum lateriflorum
  • Very hardy
  • Clusters of small white (to lightly purple) flowers with red-purple centres
  • Narrow dark green leaves turn burgundy in fall
  • Leaves ascending the stems decrease in size from 15 cm near the base
  • Bloom Time: Late summer into the fall
  • Flower Size: 1.25 cm

Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in riparian zones, so full sun in rich, moist soil is best. Some shade or other deviations from perfection are tolerated.
