Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best when planted in full sun, in a moist but well-drained soil. Due to twig, leaf and fruit drop, it is best suited for open fields.

Additional Notes about Yellow Buckeye:

Native to Northeastern US.

The fruit produced by A. flava, initially encased by a 5-7cm husk, is toxic unless first roasted and then soaked in water.
