Growing and Maintenance Tips:


The multitude of deep scarlet flowers in erect, 10-inch long panicles at each branch tip are quite attractive to bees and hummingbirds. The prickly seed pods on the original hybrid (which can be messy) are nearly absent on this cultivar, making it better suited for urban street tree plantings.
