Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Roses grow best in a moist, slightly acidic, well-drained soil, in full sun. Deadheading will promote further flowering and it is best to avoid watering or wetting the leaves when they are exposed to the sun.

Bred by Lynn M. Collicutt from the parentage ('Prairie Princess' x 'Mordon Amorette') × ('Mordon Cardinette' x 'RSMK1').

Flower details: 15-25 petals, 5-6 cm in diameter, cluster-flowered

Colour classification: Dark red

This rose was developed by the Morden, Manitoba research station and named in honour of the 100th anniversary of the Canadian Red Cross.
