Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Pieris grows best in constant moisture, (but not standing water), in a fertile soil with a low pH. Seed capsules should be removed to promote next year's flower. Young plants can benefit from protection (burlap wrap) against drying, winter winds and winter sun in an exposed location.

Additional Notes about Mountain Fire Japanese Pieris:

This evergreen is a hybrid cross of Pieris japonica, Pieris formosa and Pieris floribunda.
