Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Evodia grows best in a fertile, moist soil with a neutral or near-neutral pH. They tolerate light shade, but thrive in full sun, and will grow fairly quickly as a young tree. This is a little-known tree that flowers when few other trees do and provides nectar for bees in a time of drought.
