Growing and Maintenance Tips:


This plant will tolerate many types of soil i.e rocky or dry, but not moist, low areas. It grows best in full sun and will tolerate very light shade.

Additional Notes about Peking Cotoneaster:


Invasive potential: Cotoneaster acutifolius is already invasive in a conservation area near Calgary, Alberta. 

Consider planting a similar native species, Aronia melanocarpa, or Viburnum lentago
