Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Clethra grows naturally in wet places, and prefers acidic soil. It tolerates a wide variety of soils and conditions, including shade and salt. Suckering fairly freely, it may need some maintenance. Even in shade, Clethra will flower profusely, ideal for woodland gardens and rain gardens.
