Native to Ontario

The word 'Amorpha', meaning 'shapeless', is derived from Greek. 

Larval host for Dogface Sulphur butterflies, and pollen and nectar source for native bees, butterflies and wasps. Provides tasty, protein-rich forage for small and large mammals. Atmospheric nitrogen fixer, potentially feeding nearby plants.
