Growing and Maintenance Tips:


As with most pines, this unusual plant grows best in a well-drained soil. If necessary, pinching the candles in mid-spring will encourage a more compact form. Helga Dwarf Austrian pine is a perfect choice for small space gardens, containers and courtyards.

To improve looks and airflow, these plants would benefit from periodic 'combing' (use your fingers) to remove dead material.
