Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Phlox maculata grows best in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. This cultivar has some tolerance of drought, although flowering will be affected. 'Flower Power' spreads slowly to form a widening clump. A summer mulch helps keep root zones cool. Deadhead to prolong bloom time and improve overall appearance.

Additional Notes about Meadow Phlox:

Maculata means "spotted" in Latin, hence the common name "spotted phlox".
