Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Ilex grow best in a slightly acidic, slightly moist, well-drained soil, in full sun to partial shade. Any necessary pruning should be done in late fall to prevent winter dieback. One male ilex plant will effectively pollinate up to six female plants.
