Growing and Maintenance Tips:

European beech grow best in a rich, moist, well-drained soil, in full sun or partial shade. Some experts claim 'Aurea Pendula' is self-training, we suggest staking it to the desired height. Unusual for a beech, 'Aurea Pendula' grows best in partial shade all day to prevent leaf scorching. Growing it in full morning sun with afternoon partial or full shade can also be considered.
