Easy to grow in a fertile, well-drained soil, but can adapt well to most conditions. Once established, it becomes quite drought tolerant. To encourage a more compact plant, prune foliage before buds have formed and again after flowers finish. Divide every 3-4 years to maintain a lush plant.
