  • Flower stalks emerge from the ground on leafless hairy stems
  • Round clusters of tiny white to pinkish flowers
  • After flowers finish, foliage emerges
  • Green leaves up to 60 cm across are rounded and deeply lobed
  • Foliage turns burgundy in the fall

Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Grows best in a moist, boggy soil, in partial to full shade. Leaf scorch may occur if the soil dries out for a period of time. Effective in moist, open woods or along streams.
