Growing and Maintenance Tips:

This evergreen specimen requires periodic pruning, as damage or stem breakage may occur in the winter from ice and snow accumulation. Daphne can be finicky, with very specific cultural requirements and hard to grow. Planting in locations exposed to cold, drying, winter winds and full sun is not recommended. They benefit from a neutral to low pH, controlled watering and a well-drained soil. Mulch well, and do not move them once they are established.
