Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Best grown in an average, evenly-moist, well-drained soil, in full sun, but tolerates a wide range of conditions. Prune after flowering to maintain shape, encourage new, compact foliage and possibly extend the blooming period. Soils too rich may cause Centaurea to become leggy and require staking.
