Growing and Maintenance Tips:

A cross between silver maple and red maple, freemanii cultivars are faster growing, and change colour in the fall earlier than rubrum cultivars.  'Jeffersred' is quite adaptable, tolerant of drought conditions, and is not particular to soil type or pH. It can be grown as a specimen tree or multi-stemmed plant.

Additional Notes about Autumn Blaze® Maple:

This cultivar is essentially seedless. This editor is watching one particular specimen that hasn't read the rule book.
