Growing and Maintenance Tips:

This species is remarkably similar in appearance to the well-known green roof star, Sedum kamtschaticum, having nearly identical foliage, flower colour, bloom time, and drought tolerance. However, it holds its leaves much later into the winter season, dropping them very late, and new leaves emerge much earlier than S. kamtschaticum.  A good choice for green roofs where rapid coverage is important, this is a hardy and dependable green roof plant and can also be used for planting on a wall.
