Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in an average to dry, well-drained soil, in partial to full shade. Christmas fern is usually damaged by snow cover, so pruning it back in the spring is recommended.

Native to Ontario

Larval host for Serpentine Webworm. Ruffed Grouse and Wild Turkeys may browse the new growth in spring. In winter, when desperate, deer may eat the foliage.
