Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Best growth is in areas with cool summers and cold winters. Tolerant of a wide range of soils, it thrives in full sun in a well-drained sandy loam.

Native to Ontario

 

Jack pine can be distinguished from the invasive Scot's pine by the Vee formed by the pairs of bundled needles. Scot's pine's two needles per bundle are twisted together.
