Growing and Maintenance Tips:


Thrives in an average to moist, well-drained soil, in partial to full shade, however, can easily adapt to full sun. This self-clinging vine will climb up trees and buildings or will stem root for a good ground cover. Pruning to keep it contained to a certain area can be done in any season.

Destructive invasive non-native.

Toxicity: Compounds in English ivy are somewhat toxic and include glycosides that cause vomiting, diarrhea, nervous conditions & dermatitis in sensitive individuals.
