Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Drought tolerant, it grows best in an average to dry, alkaline soil, in full sun. Does not like to be moved once established, due to its long taproot structure. May require staking if grown in shady, moist conditions.

Though it is only a cultivar of Gypsophila paniculata, it may be invasive in North America.
