  • Narrow, columnar form, with almost vertical upswept branches
  • Medium green leaves in the summer turn bright yellow in the fall
  • Bark develops corky ridges, tan when young, turning gray at maturity

Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Plant 'Prairie Sentinel' hackberry in areas where conditions may be too tough for many other trees. Celtis can tolerate wind, pollution and a wide range of soil conditions, including wet, dry and poor soils.
