Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Grows best in full sun, in a dry to average, or poor soil, a quality that makes it an exceptional rock garden plant. It can be propagated by seed, division or cutting. If desired, cut or mow off fluffy seedheads to keep the plant neat and tidy. This perennial spreads by stolons to form an attractive ground cover.

Additional Notes about Field Pussytoes:

Native to eastern US and southern Ontario.

Leaves are larval host for Everlasting Tebenna moth and American Lady butterfly. The flowers provide early-season food for pollinators.
