Growing and Maintenance Tips:

Tulips do well with 6 or more hours of sun, in a well-drained soil. Their green leaves emerge when the soil warms in spring.  For best results, plant bulbs 20cm deep, 10-15cm apart, or side by side in clumps, in loosened soil, any time from late August to late October. As long as the ground isn't frozen, they can be planted. A little water to get them going would be beneficial.

Additional Notes about Tulip:

Originally native to central Asia and Southern Europe, Tulips have been bred into thousands of varieties. Tulips can come in all sorts of colors and bicolors except blue. The Netherlands (Holland) is still the Tulip Capital of the world.
