Growing and Maintenance Tips:


A good landscape tree for large lawns or parks. Avoid planting close to streets and roadways as lower horizontal branching may create problems.  

Additional Notes about Amur Corktree:


Potential invasive species.

Though the map shown on the link doesn't show it, Phellodendron has been found in Quebec as well. Consider alternatives such as the seedless varieties, or native trees: Gymnocladus dioicus, Celtis occidentalis, Carpinus caroliniana and others.
