Typically available in rootstocks E.M.26 (dwarf) and M.M.106 (semi-dwarf). More than one cultivar must be planted in order to facilitate the best pollination and subsequent fruit production. However, 'Mutsu' is in a limited class, and is not capable of pollinating any other apples.
